HanDBase for Palm OS Professional is a RDBMS for desktops and Palm OS devices.
This RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) can be installed in both desktop and Palm OS devices. New databases can be created and information can be captured from the forms designed by the users. Data fields are also flexible, providing good diversity of data types. It also can be integrated to Access databases, so their information can be imported or exported.
Its GUI is very simple and easy to users; database information can be managed and designed in an easy way. Also it offers a smart form creator to capture and show information; forms can be designed visually, allowing their reuse for other databases. It allows configuring security; passwords and security parameters can be adjusted for databases, records, tables, beam database, etc. Encryption is also allowed.
It also brings out manual or automatic alarms; this RDBMS affords configurable views, where the fields can be hidden, information must be filtered and sorted.
Its installation process is simple and easy to perform; it also installs the PRC program for the Palm OS device and can be installed in any device available in your system. Besides, once a database is created the pdb file is also installed on the device and can be synchronized each time a change is made. Its documentation is included with the program, likewise on its website there is more information available. |
